This region includes Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, Englewood, Boca Grande, Punta Gorda, Fort Myers and Naples. Sarasota is Florida's capital of culture. The John Ringling Museum houses the enormous art collection of the circus founder, together with a Jungle Garden. There are not one but two nationally acclaimed performing arts centres in Sarasota. St Armands Circle is a beautiful, exclusive place for shopping and dining. There are beautiful barrier islands with stunning sunsets as standard! This area of coast is famous for finding shells and sharks teeth and dolphins can often be seen swimming through the warm gulf waters.

Down the coast, Fort Myers has the Winter Home of Edison, and further down the Tamiami Trail is Naples, home to the most expensive homes in the state.
